Making your Home Page your Home Page
Don't know what browser or version you
have?
Open up your browser, click
on "Help" and then select "About". Then
go to the appropriate instructions below.
Internet Explorer 7 and below:
1. Click on "Tools";
2. Click on "Internet options";
3. Click on the "General" tab (top left corner); you
should see a URL or link on the line labeled "Home page".
4. Click at the end of that line and backspace to delete the
contents.
5. Click on "Use Current Pages".
6. Click "OK" near the bottom of the Options window.
7. Click on the Home icon on the tool bar to test it.
Firefox (newer versions
- v.2 and up):
1. Click on "Tools";
2. Click on "Options";
3. Click on the "Main" tab (top left corner of the
Options window); you should see a URL or link in the section
called "Home page".
4. Click "Use Current".
5. Click "OK" at the bottom of the window.
7. Click on the Home icon on the tool bar to test it.
Firefox (older versions
- v.1):
1. Click on "Edit"
(top left corner of the browser window);
2. Select "Preferences";
3. Click on the "General" tab (top left corner of
the Preferences window); you should see a URL or link on the
line labeled "Location(s)".
4. Click "Use Current Page".
5. Click "Close" at the bottom of the window.
7. Click on the Home icon on the tool bar to test it.
Opera:
1. When you are looking
at your Personal Home Page, Click on "Tools";
2. Select the "General" tab;
3. Click on "Use current".
